Coach Ron Ingels founded LSSST in July 2020. Ron has coached for Ridge Point High School, taught karate, and has coached other youth sporting teams throughout his career. Ron is a master class NSCA shooter and instructor, is on the board of Texas Sporting Clay Association, (TSCA) and chairs the youth shooting committee.
Ron works diligently helping each athlete individually to develop and build into confident, responsible, and skillful young athletes--building some of the foundations and structures needed in preparing them for life’s challenges. Even though LSSST is in its infancy, we have seen students move up classes in NCSA, win regional and national titles, and win scholarships. Plus, some have moved on to collegiate sporting clay and trap teams and overall are exhibiting an increase in confidence, both in the athletic arena and in their lives outside the sport, and in being responsible young adults within their communities.
