The Greater Ladies organization provides a safe space for women to learn and grow as shooters by fostering a supportive community from diverse backgrounds. Newer shooters can find guidance and confidence here. The organization’s mission is to unite women in shooting sports through exciting events and initiatives. Throughout the year, the Greater Ladies host various activities, including wine nights and clinics, showcasing different shooting sports and promoting networking. Notable events include Cupid and Clays, Skeet Soiree, Specialty Target Clinic, Summer Leagues, and a Snooker Clinic. The Greater Ladies are the hosts of the annual Clays for Ladies event, the premier all-female sporting clays fun shoot in Houston.
About Greater Ladies and the Greater Ladies Advisory Board
GHSC is initiating a more formalized structure for our Greater Ladies. Any female member of GHSC can opt-in to be a Greater Ladies member. There is no cost associated with being a Greater Ladies member. By opting in, the member agrees to share their contact information and be added to the Greater Ladies email distribution list. Additional perks may be provided throughout the year.

The Greater Ladies Advisory Board (GLAB) acts as the ambassadors and leaders of the Greater Ladies organization. GLAB exists to work in collaboration with the GHSC staff to promote and encourage women’s participation in shooting sports. GLAB is dedicated to fostering safety, education, and good fellowship among Greater Ladies members and the wider GHSC community.

Greater Ladies - Specialty Clinic

Welcoming all Greater Ladies to a day dedicated to learning new skills to crush the more difficult targets! Instructor-led stations set up to help ladies of all skill levels learn the technique behind specialty targets. Spots are limited.

Greater Ladies - Summer League
June 11th to July 19th, 2026
This league offers a 5-week sporting clays experience with 500 targets, and the flexibility to miss one week if needed. After shooting, please join us at the clubhouse for a networking reception with hors d'oeuvres and special wine offerings. We look forward to your participation!
📅 Date: Every Thursday starting June 11th to July 19th, 2026
⏰ Registration: 4:00 PM - Shooting: 5:00 PM - Appetizers - Wine: 6:00 PM
💰 Cost: One-time league fee $100. Ladies will be responsible for payment of their 100 targets each week.
👯♀️ Guests are welcome, guest fee $20 (GHSC Guest Policy applies), not eligible for awards.
